How to Add a Photo to a Blogger Header

The header is one of the first elements users notice while visiting your blog. It typically consists of text, an image or both. Blogger’s default header consists of a text message and an optional slogan you set up when you initially configure your blog. However, you can personalize your page further by adding your own photo into the mix.

Step 1. Choose your photo. Remember: CC Licensed.

Step 2. Cut it out. You can use Picmonkey:

Step 3. Check the width of your blog (Blogger: Template>Customize). For example: 1200 px.

Step 4. Go to Resize and type the new width. Do not forget to Keep proportions!

Step 5. You can include the title of your blog on the image. Use Tt icon.

Step 6. Save the new edited photo.

Step 7.
  1. Go to Blogger.com to view your account’s dashboard.
  2. Click the drop-down arrow located to the right side of your blog’s title and select “Layout or Design” from the context menu.
  3. Click the “Edit” option within the header section, located toward the top of the screen. The header typically contains the title initially given to your blog.
  4. Select whether the photo should be placed behind your blog’s current title and description or whether to replace it entirely.
  5. Additionally, click the check box stating “Shrink to Fit” in the event your photo exceeds the blog’s height and width.
  6. Save.
Step 8. Click “Save” to effectively apply the photo as your blog’s new header.

First, read (and listen!) this article: ONLINE SAFETY.

Now, we are ready to play a game and, may be, win a wonderful technological prize.

"Conectados" is an on-line game for 14-16 years old students.

It is a virtual treasure hunt (gyimkhana) conducted by the FAD (Fundación de Ayuda contra la Drogadicción) in collaboration with Google, and the participation of Twitter, which deals with the use of new technologies and Internet.

Players will run with a robot and overcoming obstacles, tests and quizzes will transform the robot into a human being
